Pillows
This past weekend I went to Tallapoosa to visit with PoppieT one more time before I move to St. Simons. She was so kind and helped me make some pillows for our den! My mom and I had found the fabric and fringe at a fabric store in Lilburn, then we bought the pillow inserts, and PoppieT helped me sew everything together! I appreciated her help so much because otherwise it would have taken me many hours to complete what she did in under one hour!

New Job!
So ... I officially have a new job in St. Simons! I am going to be the Advancement Coordinator at Frederica Academy, which is a private Christian School on St. Simons Island! I am going to be working in the Admissions office and helping develop marketing materials (print and online) for the advancement of the school. Right now I believe my start date is July 26th, so I'll have a few days when we get back from the honeymoon to get settled on the island. I am so excited, and this is such a blessing!

Fun Date Night!
I just got back from St. Simons this afternoon after being down there for the last time before the wedding! I headed down Tuesday evening because I had two interviews set up with the Chamber of Commerce and Frederica Academy. Everything went really well with both places, so hopefully one will work out! On Thursday, Johnathan told me he had a date night planned for us but that it was a surprise, so to just get dressed in casual clothes and we would leave about 6 pm. We got in the car and headed north on Highway 17, where we went to a wine and cheese tasting at a cute new store called Wine and Cheese Gourmet! It was such a thoughtful idea, and we had a great time! We actually ran into an old friend we both new in college, and met a new friend (the shop owner) who is a young graduate from UGA as well.
After the wine and cheese tasting we had hoped to go to a little pizza place on the square, but unfortunately it had closed, so we walked down to the water and went to Skipper's Fish Camp for dinner. I will not complain about getting fried seafood - it was really good!
Thanks to my wonderful fiance for a fantastic time!

Shower in Atlanta
Yesterday I had a shower thrown for me by 8 of my Mom's dear friends. They have all been playing Bridge and going to the beach for about 25 years - I hope that our group of friends will be able to say that one day! The shower was so nice, and it was so great to have so many of my close friends be able to attend! Here are a couple of pictures from the event:
A great gift from my sister! Baking pans, recipes, and a new cookbook!
Jill, Hollie, Mrs. Browning, and Maggie
Renee and her Mom gave me a cookbook and pitcher from Crate and Barrel!
All of the hostesses got us our Henkel Knife Set!
My wonderful friends from high school - Kim, Karen and Claudia
My best friend from growing up - Caroline
All of the girls!
Me with my Mom, Lauren and Poppiet
